संघ को गुस्सा क्यों आता है?

कुछ दिन पहले मध्य प्रदेश यात्रा के दौरान अखिल भारतीय कांग्रेस कमेटी के महासचिव राहुल गाँधी द्वारा आरएसएस की तुलना सिमी से करने पर समूचा संघ परिवार बौखला गया है. इस बौखलाहट की वजह यह है कि जिस सिमी का विरोध कर संघ परिवारी अपनी राष्ट्र भक्ति का रंग चोखा करते थे उसी सिमी से संघ की तुलना उसे अप्रत्याशित क्षति पहुंचा सकती है. भारत और दुनिया के अकादमिक जगत के लोग, नेता और पत्रकार सभी संघ की स्थापना से लेकर अब तक यह कहते रहे की संघ एक सांप्रदायिक,फासीवादी और भारतीय संविधान की भावना के विरुद्ध खड़ा संगठन है. आज भी संघ के इस घातक चरित्र पर किसी को संदेह नहीं है. समय-समय पर उसकी असलियत को उजागर करने वाले बयान और लेखन आते रहते हैं, बावजूद इसके संघ अपनी चाल में चलता रहता है. एक वैचारिक संवेदनहीनता और निष्ठुरता की प्रवृत्ति की वजह से वह इनसे अधिक घबराता भी नहीं है. लेकिन राहुल गाँधी के बयान के बाद संघ परिवार न केवल घबराया है बल्कि अन्दर तक हिल गया है. वजह यही हो सकती है कि संघ पर टिप्पणी करने वाला व्यक्ति कोई साधारण राजनेता नहीं बल्कि गाँधी-नेहरु परिवार के साथ- साथ कांग्रेस की सवा सौ साल पुरानी विरासत का वाहक और युवाओं में अत्यंत लोकप्रिय जुझारू नेता है. उनकी व्यक्तिगत और राजनीतिक साख देश-दुनिया में संघ परिवार से कई गुना अधिक है. इसीलिए यह टिप्पणी उसके लिए एक भारी हमले की तरह है जो युवाओं में उसकी लोकप्रियता को ख़त्म कर सकती है. और इसीलिए संघ गुस्से में है, संघ परिवारी न केवल सार्वजनिक तौर पर इसका अभद्र और अमर्यादित विरोध कर रहे हैं बल्कि मिलने पर कांग्रेसियों से निजी तौर पर अपने गुस्से का इजहार कर रहे हैं. इस राजनीतिक गुस्से और कुंठा का सच जानना जरूरी है.

संघ की विचारधारा और कार्यक्रमों को सिमी की विचारधारा और कार्यक्रमों से मिलाकर देखें तो राहुल गाँधी ने जो कहा है वह न केवल सौ प्रतिशत सच है बल्कि ऐसा सच जिसे कहने की कोशिश संघियों के हिसाब से अब कोई नहीं कर सकता. यह बयान उनकी परिपक्व राजनीतिक समझ को भी दर्शाता है. जो संघ परिवारी उन्हें भारतीय संस्कृति और आरएसएस के बारे में पढ़ने की सलाह दे रहे हैं उन्हें यह मालूम होना चाहिए कि जो व्यक्ति आरएसएस, सिमी, फंडामेंटलिज्म और भारतीय संस्कृति को जानता होगा वही ऐसा बयान दे सकता है.

संघ (राष्ट्रीय स्वयं सेवक संघ) का लक्ष्य है, भारत को हिन्दू राष्ट्र बनाना तो सिमी(स्टुडेंट्स इस्लामिक मोवमेंट ऑफ़ इण्डिया) का लक्ष्य है, भारत को इस्लामिक राष्ट्र बनाना. भारत के संविधान के अनुसार क्या इस तरह के लक्ष्यों के प्रति प्रतिबद्ध संगठन सक्रिय रहने चाहिए? आरएसएस अपने लक्ष्य के लिए जहाँ हिन्दुओं को खतरे में दिखाकर तथा अल्पसंख्यकों के खिलाफ हिन्दुओं में जहर भरता है वहीँ सिमी इस्लाम को खतरे में दिखाकर तथा हिन्दुओं तथा अन्य धर्मावलम्बियों के खिलाफ मुसलमानों में जहर भरता है. साधारण से साधारण भारतीय भी इस तथ्य से परिचित है. ये दोनों संगठन जो करना चाहते हैं और जिस तरह से करना चाहते हैं, राजनीति शास्त्र में इसे ही फंडामेंटलिज्म कहा जाता है. अब अगर राहुल गाँधी ने आरएसएस को सिमी की तरह फंडामेंटलिस्ट संगठन कहा है तो इसमें गलत क्या है? इसमें उनका ज्ञान और राजनीतिक समझदारी दिखती है अज्ञान नहीं. अज्ञान तो उनका दिखता है जो उन्हें भारत को जानने की सलाह दे रहे हैं. अगर आरएसएस को सिमी से तुलना खराब लगती है तो उसे अपने को बदलना चाहिए. ज्ञान और भारतीयता के ढोंग से असत्य का प्रचार कर भारतीयों को गुमराह नहीं करना चाहिए.

संघ परिवारी यह नहीं बता रहे हैं कि संघ और सिमी में क्या-क्या फ़र्क हैं. बस एक ही फ़र्क गिना रहे हैं कि सिमी प्रतिबंधित आतंकवादी संगठन है, आरएसएस नहीं. वे फिर एक झूठ बोल रहे हैं. माना आज आरएसएस प्रतिबंधित नहीं है लेकिन भारत सरकार सिमी की तरह ही इसको भी एक से अधिक बार प्रतिबंधित कर चुकी है. आरोप कुछ- कुछ वैसे ही थे. एक सबसे जघन्य आरोप था- महात्मा गाँधी की हत्या का. ऐसा जघन्य आरोप तो सिमी पर कभी नहीं लगा. फिर, राहुल गाँधी ने सिमी से आरएसएस की समानता की तो गलत क्या किया? समय आ गया है कि राहुल गाँधी पर हमला बोलने की बजाय संघ एक-एक करके देश को बताये कि वह सिमी से किस तरह अलग है.

अपने लक्ष्य की प्राप्ति के लिए दोनों संगठन जो कार्य-पद्धति अपनाते हैं उसमें भी कई समानताएं हैं. भाजपा के माध्यम से संघ ने संसदीय राजनीति में जगह तो बनाई है लेकिन, अन्य घटकों की राजनीति को किसी भी मायने में संसदीय नहीं माना जा सकता है. स्वयं संघ का संगठन और सांगठनिक आदर्श सैन्यीकृत है. हिटलर और मुसोलिनी की कार्य-पद्धति उन्हें आदर्श लगती है. गुजरात में मुसलमानों के विरुद्ध भाजपा ने राज्य प्रायोजित आतंकवाद का नया चेहरा देश के सामने रखा. इसे पूरे संघ परिवार ने मिलकर अंजाम दिया था. गुजरात नरसंहार क्या आतंकवाद नहीं था? क्या सिमी ऐसा कर पाई है? बाबरी मस्जिद विद्ध्वंश का काम संघ परिवारियों ने किया. इस विद्ध्वंश ने देश के संवैधानिक ढांचे को चुनौती देने का काम किया.क्या यह आतंकवादी गतिविधि नहीं थी. क्या सिमी के ऊपर ऐसा कोई आरोप है?

अजमेर स्थित ख्वाजा मोईनुद्दीन चिश्ती की दरगाह विस्फोट का मामला हो या मालेगांव बम विस्फोट का मामला दोनों आतंकवादी घटनाएँ हैं और इन्हें अंजाम देने वाले संघ परिवारी ही थे. ये घटनाएँ वैसी ही थीं जैसी इस देश की संसद या मुंबई हमले की घटनाएँ. अगर राहुल गाँधी ने आरएसएस की समानता सिमी से की तो क्या गलत किया? उन्होंने एक राजनीतिक सच्चाई को अभिव्यक्त किया है जिसके लिए सभी धर्मनिरपेक्ष और अमन पसंद लोगों को उनकी तारीफ करनी चाहिए.

Now NSUI to pick up office bearers through election

New Delhi, Nov 22 (PTI) As part of its efforts to ensure that deserving leaders get prominence, the NSUI will now elect its office bearers, dumping practice of selection under which the organisational heads were handpicked by the leadership. The organisational elections of the students'' body, which introduces democracy as part of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi''s ambitious plan of reaching out to all, is supervised by Foundation for Advanced Management of Elections (FAME).
FAME, founded by former chief election commissioner JM Lyngdoh, is an NGO of ex-election commission officials. In the new system, elections will be conducted at college, district, state and national levels.
The group also hopes to garner support of those students who have dislike for student politics. "The process of electing the national president will be completed after we have representatives elected in all the states.
A few party posts have been reserved for SCs, STs and OBCs. So, we hope to achieve inclusive representation by December, 2010," said Anand Pandey, NSUI national general secretary.

The visibility of women candidates in the Delhi University Students Union (DUSU) elections is on the rise, especially from the National Students Union of India (NSUI).
NSUI, the youth wing of the Congress party, claims they are actively encouraging women to enter national politics. And what can be a better platform than DUSU polls.
At least nine women from NSUI are lobbying for a ticket to fight this year’s elections. The last three DUSU presidents have been NSUI women leaders. And many of them have made a smooth transition to national politics.
In 2007, Amrita Dhawan, who was president of DUSU for 2006-07, was given a ticket to fight for MCD polls.
“I lost by only 400 votes. But the fact remains I was given a ticket and all because of my work done as a member of NSUI,” said Dhawan.
“The Advisory Council of NSUI has a policy of giving at least 33 per cent representation to women,” said Anand Pandey, spokesperson, NSUI.
“I became the All India president of NSUI soon after winning DUSU election in 1995-96,” said Alka Lamba, secretary, All India Congress Committee.
“I was given an opportunity at university level. Today I am the youngest AICC secretary,” Lamba said.
“Critics say women candidates win because of their glamour. I ask girls to prove everyone wrong with their work and commitment,” Lamba said.
However, the same rules applied to both men and women candidates, Pandey said. “Both have to have a clean record, they must be socially active and have good communication skills,” he said.
In contrast, opposition students’ group Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) claims it is just ideologically supported by the BJP. Thus women candidates are not directly absorbed into party politics.
“BJP does not support ABVP financially or with muscle power. But if DUSU women leaders want to join the BJP they are welcome,” said Monika Arora, the DUSU president from ABVP during 1993-94.
Arora fought for MLA seat in 2007 and lost by a small margin.
“ABVP has lots of women candidates who have potential. Perhaps better strategy and a curb on financial and muscle power in DUSU elections will give them a better chance at winning,” Arora said.

New Delhi, October 31 : Years after they impressed the young minds of Delhi University with peppy slogans, former office-bearers of the Delhi University Students Union (DUSU) are now eyeing the upcoming Assembly elections. If the number of interested candidates is any indication, the elections will see a number of young faces, experienced in the art of politics since their student days, fighting for the coveted posts.
According to NSUI sources, at least six former office-bearers of DUSU and two DU student activists are in the race for Congress tickets. Big names include Ragini Nayak, Anil Choudhary, Virendra Singh Vaishist, Harsh Chaudhury, Ashok Basoya and Alka Lamba. From the ABVP, Nakul Bhardwaj and Anil Jha are leading the camp for fresh faces in the BJP. Other names include Jaiveer Rana, Jitender Choudhury, Ajay Choudhury, Ashish Sood and Satish Upadhyay.
When asked if being “new” contestants will in a way jeopardise their chances to win, a former DUSU office-bearer, on condition of anonymity, said: “Being young does not mean we are new. Each student leader has been actively working for the last few years and so people in their area know them well and that is what counts.”
Commenting on whether winning the DUSU elections will help in preparing for the Assembly elections, a former ABVP leader said there is a huge difference between the two. “From the point of the ABVP, DUSU elections only help in learning about the organisational structure of a party and nothing else,” he said.
For both NSUI and ABVP, student leaders are expected to bring a youthful image to their area. Mukesh Shukla, an ABVP leader said: “When young people in the age of 30-35 contest against older contestants, they give a youthful image to campaigning. Also, being former leaders of DUSU, they get students to campaign for them.”
When not contesting, student activists are also expected to help in campaigning for other candidates of the Congress and the BJP.
Anand Pandey, the national spokesperson of NSUI, says, “Before elections, there is door-to-door campaigning to be done and on the day of the elections there are hundreds of booths to be looked after. Obviously, the students play a big role in mobilising supporters.”

With three weeks to go for the elections, the NSUI has charted out an elaborate plan which includes door-to-door campaigning, specially targeting first time voters and students. The NSUI, which claims having a membership of 40,000 students in Delhi, is expected to field around 20,000 of its cadre in "grassroot campaigning". "We will work with a specific goal this time. Leaders will address our target group of students and youths. Our block and college units have been instructed to work in support of Congress candidates in their respective areas," NSUI spokesperson Anand Pandey said. However, ABVP says it will not be involved in the campaigning process in an organisational level. "We are not involved in the elections on the organisational level as our mandate is to work for the welfare of the students," ABVP Delhi unit president Raj Kumar Sharma said. नई दिल्ली। दिल्ली विधानसभा चुनाव में कांग्रेस की छात्र इकाई एनएसयूआई के कार्यकर्ता अपने वरिष्ठ नेताओं के लिए घर-घर जाकर वोट मांगेंगे, लेकिन भाजपा को युवा शक्ति के लिए किसी अन्य विकल्प की तलाश करनी होगी, क्योंकि इसकी छात्र इकाई एबीवीपी ने चुनाव प्रचार में भाग लेने से मना कर दिया है।
चुनाव से तीन सप्ताह पहले एनएसयूआई ने प्रचार के लिए विस्तृत योजना तैयार की है जिसमें घर-घर जाकर प्रचार करना भी शामिल है। उनका लक्ष्य पहली बार मतदान करने वाले लोगों और छात्रों को रिझाना है। एनएसयूआई का दावा है कि दिल्ली में 40 हजार छात्र उनके सदस्य हैं और प्रचार के लिए 20 हजार छात्रों को लगाए जाने की उम्मीद है।
एनएसयूआई के प्रवक्ता आनंद पांडेय ने कहा कि इस बार हम एक विशेष लक्ष्य के तहत काम करेंगे। नेता और कार्यकर्ता छात्रों एवं युवाओं को संबोधित करेंगे। हमारे प्रखंड एवं कालेज इकाइयों को उनके क्षेत्रों में कांग्रेस उम्मीदवारों के समर्थन में काम करने का निर्देश दिया गया है।
एबीवीपी ने हालांकि कहा कि वह संगठन स्तर पर चुनाव प्रचार अभियान में हिस्सा नहीं लेगी। एबीवीपी की दिल्ली इकाई के अध्यक्ष राज कुमार शर्मा ने कहा कि चुनाव में हम संगठन स्तर पर शामिल नहीं होंगे क्योंकि हमारा उद्देश्य छात्रों के कल्याण के लिए काम करना है। उन्होंने हालांकि यह भी कहा कि छात्रों को भाजपा उम्मीदवारों के लिए काम करने पर मनाही नहीं होगी। शर्मा ने कहा कि यह उनका व्यक्तिगत निर्णय होगा।

JNUSU polls - NSUI may not field candidatesThe National Students’ Union of India may not field its candidates in the coming Jawaharlal Nehru University Students’ Union elections this year. The university unit has split into two factions and both are simultaneously campaigning for the same posts. The annoyed senior office-bearers might dissolve the unit in toto on Thursday, say sources. The All-India NSUI president Nadeem Javed and vice-president Rohit Chaudhary had approved Nagender Singh Shekhawat’s name for president’s post and Shahnawaz for the post of joint secretary. But Faiz Ashrafi and Vidisha Shukla, who were also eyeing the two respective posts, turned rebel and started campaigning simultaneously. This has irked the senior office-bearers. “In view of these developments, senior NSUI leaders will dissolve the unit. There are even chances that they bar the unit from contesting election this year,” an insider said. NSUI spokesperson Anand Pandey said that the matter will be solved after reaching Delhi as senior office-bearers are in Uttarakhand for cadre elections. The sources also allege that the JNU unit chief Simi Joseph should have been assertive and should have informed higher ups rather than just submitting to their orders. Its to be noted that the NSUI is facing such problems of factionalism for some years now. “Such problems have been cropping up at the time of elections since last three years. Two years back, I was asked to let Anand Pandey contest the JNUSU president’s post and I agreed to the high command’s orders,” Saghar, an NSUI activist said.

The most sought after Presidential debate at the Jawaharlal Nehru University elections had to be abruptly halted after the students attacked a speaker for using unsavory language against Lord Ram on Wednesday night.
Earlier this year, the minority community party, the Bahujan Samaj Front had distributed pamphlets demeaning the Hindu deity, whereby hurting Hindu sentiments.
Following individual presidential candidate speeches, Amit Kumar from Bharatiya Janta Party supported Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad, questioned Raghunath Prasad Saket (BSF) if the party regretted the act. An unapologetic Saket took responsibility for the act and adding fuel to the fire, made further derogatory remarks. This was enough to provoke the crowd, which was unquestionably upset.
The crowd went violent hurling shoes, stones among other things. The angry ABVP activists attacked the election committee, beat the Bahujan Samaj Front candidates, pulled down tents, cut electricity and broke furniture. Police force had to be called in to control the mob. “The reaction was a reflection of ABVP’s extremists ideology. It was clearly a suggestion of shrinking democratic space in most campuses. There were 15 outsiders, most came drunk, and some even carried hockey sticks and bats. The reaction was planned and in no way spontaneous,” said Serohi, a supporter from Democratic Students Union.
Condemning the act, Anand Pandey, National Students Union of India supporter said, “It was a completely undemocratic act and against the very ethos of JNU elections.
